Collezione Tecnica 2013

We proudly continue our Collezione Tecnica dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini. These new sets of the Collezione Tecnica, personally designed and created by Egidio Reali and Paolo Feraboli, feature some of the most exclusive combinations of materials, technology, art, design and colors of Lamborghini’s history. A new level of exclusivity and a standing tribute to the marvels of engineering created by the Company of Sant’Agata. Assembled by MR Collection in Italy, these limited and exclusive masterpieces are mounted on bases designed by the Automobili Lamborghini Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. The carbon fiber panels used for the bases of these models are made with the same materials, processes, and equipment as Lamborghini’s supercars, and therefore represent a unique opportunity for our collectors to own a “piece of the dream”. A very selected number of bases are manufactured using a Fusion Deposition Modeling 3D printing machine, which represents the state-of-the-art in engineering.

In the 1990-1992 period, Lamborghini under Chrysler ownership, entered the F1 racing league by providing engines to the Minardi team. At the same time Lamborghini launched the Diablo, one of the most iconic models ever made. Both cars were already making use of carbon fiber for the body panels at the time. Base in matte finish twill carbon fiber woven fabric, with waterjet cut 50th anniversary logo in red colors. Italian flag detail. 1 piece only. Signed by Egidio Reali and Paolo Feraboli.
